Founded at WashU
UTrucking was founded in 1977 by WashU students, the founding member of WashU’s Student Entrepreneurial Program (StEP) in 1999, paving the way for other student-run businesses.
Company Growth
In 2021, the business formally transitioned from a StEP venture to an official University vendor, formalizing its role in supporting WashU students and Residential Life with consistent, reliable moving and storage services.
Recent Years
In recent years, UTrucking has expanded its offerings to support key University functions, including Freshman Move-In and year-round moving services for Residential Life.
